Science Museum London
London’s Science Museum announced Web Lab, an interesting-sounding collaborative project with Google, featuring a range of interactive Chrome experiments designed to bring the inner workings of the Web to life
Visitors to the free exhibition had five separate experiments to get involved with. Simultaneously, online participants can also “visit” from around the world to interact with the very same installations. It’s about as close as you’ll get to a truly global exhibition. Each Web Lab experiment taps a modern Web technology to explore a specific idea that’s relevant to computer science.
InteractUn limited designed and build of three "Teleporters", in collaboration with Barber Osgerby we set out to design the most popular interactive in the gallery. The teleporters took live footage from sites around the world and allowed visitors to pan, zoom and upload what they observed to their Google accounts. The complete interactive was designed built and installed by InteractUn Limited.
